Making Friends with Food
We opened our first Doraku Sushi location over 20 years ago in Miami Beach, Florida. Doraku Sushi is a restaurant, bar and gathering place that celebrates Japanese food, drink, and hospitality. The experience is modeled after an Izakaya, or Japanese gastropub and features food meant to be shared and experienced in the company of others. The decor embraces Japanese works of art, styles and culture. It’s a place to have fun with friends or to unwind after a long day at work.

Our chefs honor time-honored techniques while creating dishes that feel fresh and distinctly Doraku. From carefully selected fish sourced locally and globally to generations-old sauces and techniques, every ingredient is chosen with intention and every dish is made to be shared.

Every detail at Doraku is thoughtfully chosen to bring the spirit of a Japanese izakaya to life. From handmade wooden tables sourced from Indonesia to traditional sake barrels and Japanese-inspired details, Kevin Aoki’s vision creates a space designed to transport you beyond the plate.

Doraku Sushi is home to one of the largest exclusive collections of Whiskey, with each bottle hand-selected by Kevin Aoki himself. The numerous bottles guests will find here include Knob Creek Rye, Knob Creek, Buffalo Trace, Joseph Magnus, Woodford Reserve, and High West Rye. Aoki Group announced the newly acquired Patròn Reposado Single Barrel Select expanding the spirit selection of the widely acclaimed Aoki Collection.
